Job summary

RGS Products, Inc. in Waterford, PA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to coordinate and manage architectural projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate with clients, engineers, and shop staff to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include overseeing engineering, workflow, scheduling, change orders, and resource planning while ensuring compliance with codes and industry standards. Travel to job sites is required.

Qualifications

  • Two+ years of experience in project management, engineering, systems design, or related field with at least one year of leadership.
  • Blueprint Reading a must.
  • Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Travel to job sites with short notice.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee engineering, workflow, budget, field verification and scheduling for the assigned project.
  • Supervise project progress from start to finish.
  • Serve as liaison for all client communications.
  • Collaborate on strategic plans, estimates of products, time, install labor and resources.
  • Develop project plans and designs.
  • Compare actual products to estimates.
  • Recommend materials, equipment, and practices.
  • Ensure compliance with codes and policies.
  • Collaborate with engineers and management to troubleshoot issues.
  • Assess resources and subcontractor sufficiency.
  • Manage Change Orders to team and clients.
  • Prepare periodic progress reports.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

RGS Products, Inc. is an architectural railing and metals manufacturing company providing customers with custom design balcony and stairway railings. We are in search of an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team.

The Project Manager will coordinate and manage individual architectural projects.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee various aspects of engineering, workflow, budget, field verification and scheduling of the assigned project.
  • Supervise progress of the project from start to finish
  • Serve as the liaison for all communications with the client
  • Collaborate with project staff to create a strategic action plan and project estimates of products, time, install labor, and other resources required to complete the project
  • Facilitate and contribute to the development of project plans and designs
  • Compare the actual products of the project to estimates
  • Recommend and/or analyze materials, equipment, and practices used in the project
  • Ensure compliance with codes, guidelines, best practices, and policies
  • Collaborate with project engineers and senior management to identify and troubleshoot problems which arise
  • Assess the competence, capabilities, and sufficiency of resources, and of subcontract installers
  • Manage and communicate requirements for Change Orders to project team and clients
  • Prepare periodic progress reports for leadership
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Blueprint Reading a must
Physical Requirements
  • Extensive travel required (must be able to travel to job sites with short notice)
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
Experience
  • Construction Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Project Management: 1 year (Preferred)
