Key Responsibilities
  • Project & Contract Administration
    • Review contract documentation, including change orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.

    • Coordinate with the shop fabrication teams to align production schedules with project delivery requirements.
    • Assist with delivery scheduling and logistics to ensure materials arrive to job sites on time.
  • Customer & Team Communication
    • Serve as a point of contact for customers to answer questions, provide project status updates, and assist in resolving issues or problems.
    • Communicate effectively with internal teams — including sales, purchasing, shop, and field operations — to keep projects moving smoothly.
    • Prepare and distribute written correspondence, project documentation, and updates as needed.
  • Learning & Development
    • Actively learn product lines, industry terminology, and project management processes under the guidance of experienced team members.
    • Participate in training programs and continuing education opportunities provided by Colorado Doorways.
    • Take initiative in developing knowledge of the door, frame, hardware, and security integration industry.
Required Qualifications & Skills

    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in documentation, data entry, and correspondence.
    • Reliable, punctual, and committed to daily attendance in a team‑oriented office environment.
  • Experience
    • Prior experience in an office, administrative, or project coordination role is preferred but not required.
    • No prior door and hardware or construction industry experience is necessary — a willingness to learn is what matters most.
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in a construction, building products, or related industry environment.
