Responsibilities

  • Support outside sales with project quotations, pricing, order entry, and follow-up activities.
  • Prepare and maintain door and hardware schedules using industry software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Process customer orders and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Assist customers via phone and email, providing product information and project support.
  • Coordinate submittal packages, warranties, closeout documents, and other project-related paperwork.
  • Confirm delivery schedules and communicate updates to customers and sales staff.
  • Review commercial contracts and ensure required documentation is received and properly processed.
  • Reconcile contract discrepancies and assist with project billing reviews.
  • Maintain project files and contract documentation; monitor reports and distribute updates.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in commercial construction, project coordination, estimating, sales support, or a related field.
  • Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of commercial doors, frames, hardware, or multifamily construction products.
  • Experience with estimating and project quotations.
  • Understanding of margins, markups, and contract administration.
  • Experience with industry software such as Avaware or similar systems.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
  • Primarily office-based position in a climate-controlled environment.
  • Extended work hours may be required during peak business periods.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
  • Occasional standing, walking, and light lifting.
