Job summary

TekStream Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager and Scrum Master to lead planning, tracking, and execution of a technology transition for multiple locations. You will own the master schedule in Smartsheet, track all tasks, dates, and dependencies across workstreams, and translate those tasks into Jira for the network team.

This role requires strong traditional project management and Agile/Scrum practice to keep a complex rollout moving with clear communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience delivering technical rollouts (multi-site hardware/network/software deployments).
• Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet (schedules, dependencies, dashboards, reports).
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira (boards, workflows, backlog management, reporting).
• Proficiency as a Scrum Master with hands-on Agile coaching for teams.

Commitment: 40 hours per week, 1-year contract, remote

TekStream Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Manager and Scrum Master to lead the planning, tracking, and execution of our client’s technology transition for multiple locations. This person will own the master schedule for the entire implementation in Smartsheet, tracking every task, date, and dependency across all workstreams. They will also work directly with the network team, helping them manage their work in Jira and translating those tasks and dates into the master Smartsheet plan so the network schedule stays on pace.

This role requires someone equally strong in traditional project management and Agile/Scrum practice, who can keep a complex, multi-party rollout moving with clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:

Master schedule and rollout management in Smartsheet

• Build and maintain the end-to-end project plan in Smartsheet for each site’s transition.
• Track all tasks, dates, dependencies, and milestones for the full implementation.
• Identify risks, blockers, and schedule slips early, and drive them to resolution.
• Provide regular status updates and dashboards to stakeholders and leadership.

Network team support in Jira and Scrum

• Help the network team organize and manage their tasks in Jira, including backlog grooming, boards, and workflows.
• Coach the team on Agile practices and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives) as appropriate.
• Help the network manager plan and manage their schedule, sequencing work to meet rollout dates.
• Monitor network tasks in Jira to confirm they are tracking toward the required dates, and elevate when they are not.

Jira to Smartsheet translation

• Translate network task data and dates from Jira into the master Smartsheet schedule.
• Reconcile the two tools regularly so dates and status are consistent.
• Flag any network dates that conflict with the overall implementation timeline.

Hardware procurement and logistics

• Determine when hardware must be ordered to meet rollout dates.
• Help initiate and expedite hardware orders in coordination with purchasing and IT.
• Track orders through shipment and delivery, and flag delays that threaten the schedule.
• Schedule and coordinate vendors for on-site work at each restaurant.
• Confirm vendor availability, dates, and scope, and manage changes.
• Serve as the point of contact for vendors on timing and logistics.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience, with a proven record of delivering technical rollouts (e.g., multi-site hardware/network/software deployments).
• Expert-level proficiency in Smartsheet (schedules, dependencies, dashboards, reports).
• Expert-level proficiency in Jira (boards, workflows, backlog management, reporting).
• Proficiency as a Scrum Master, with hands‑on experience coaching and running Agile teams.
• Demonstrated ability to track fine-grained details across many tasks, sites, and parties.
• Experience managing hardware procurement and delivery timelines.
• Experience coordinating third‑party vendors and field schedules.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical teams, vendors, and leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with restaurant, retail, or other multi-location rollouts.
• Familiarity with network infrastructure projects.
• PMP, CSM, PSM, or similar certification.
• Experience working across multiple regions or time zones.

• The Smartsheet master schedule is accurate, current, and visible to all stakeholders.
• The network team's Jira work is well organized and tracking to the dates the rollout needs.
• Jira and Smartsheet dates stay reconciled.
• Hardware arrives on time for each site's scheduled work.
• Vendors show up when expected, with minimal rescheduling.
• Risks and slipping dates are raised early.
