Job summary

Motion Recruitment is seeking a senior Project Manager for a long-term contract in Irving, TX (Hybrid). You will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives, translate technical work for senior leadership, and drive modernization in a large financial services environment.

• Infrastructure experience with Data Center build out, cloud migration, app modernization/transformation and executive communications.
• Subject matter knowledge in two or more technical areas and ability to engage with leadership across lines of business.

Responsibilities

• Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Project Management.
• Consult on strategy and resolution of highly complex challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering long-term, large-scale solutions.
• Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Project Management business solutions and engage with client personnel.
• Connect the dots across workstreams and identify opportunities to improve processes and transform the business.
• Plan and manage change across project scope, timeline, and resources for each work stream and factory.
• Drive execution and manage work stream objectives and milestones.
• Maintain work stream milestones and dependencies and control the critical path.
• Develop communication plans aligned with the program team and host regular partner meetings to review milestones, risks and issues.
• Document and drive action items or mitigation plans for risks and issues as they arise.
• Execute impact analyses for key milestones and develop Go to Green plans.
• Align with PMO and ensure compliance across the work stream.

• Experience strategically engaging with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to leadership.
• Highly effective and proven consultative leader with strong business and data-driven acumen, to drive continuous improvement in a data-driven way.

What You Will Be Doing

• Consult as an expert to develop or influence initiatives and resources for highly complex business and technical needs across Project Management.
• Consult on the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth evaluation across multiple areas, delivering solutions that are long-term, large-scale and require vision, creativity, innovation, and advanced analytical and inductive thinking.
• Provide expertise to client senior leadership on innovative Project Management business solutions. Strategically engage with client personnel.
• Connect the dots across workstreams and always be on the lookout for opportunities to improve process, remove friction and transform the business
• Planning and change management across project scope, timeline, and resources (specific to work stream and factory)
• Drive execution/workplan management of work stream/factory objectives.
• Maintain work stream milestones and dependencies.
• Manage and control the work stream critical path.
• Develop communication plan aligned with the program communications team.
• Host regular meetings with partners to understand milestones, tasks, risks, and issues.
• Document and drive action items or issues/risk mitigation as they arise.
• Execute impact analysis for key milestones/outcomes At-Risk or Off-Track and Develop and monitor Go to Green plans.
• Align with PMO and manage all compliance requirements for the work stream.
