Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure-related projects. The ideal candidate will manage the implementation of IT systems, networks, and hardware deployments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for IT infrastructure initiatives such as server upgrades, network expansions, or cloud migrations.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional teams, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and resolutions. Facilitate collaboration between technical teams and business units.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to infrastructure projects, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Budget and Resource Oversight: Manage project budgets, track costs, and optimize resource allocation to deliver projects within financial constraints.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to procure hardware, software, or services, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines.
  • Infrastructure Deployment: Oversee the implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, including data centers, networking equipment, virtualization, and cloud-based systems (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and post-implementation reviews.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, or CompTIA Project+ are highly desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with at least 3 years focused on IT infrastructure projects (e.g., network upgrades, server deployments, or cloud migrations).
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networking (LAN/WAN), servers, storage systems, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms.
  • Skills: Proven leadership and team management abilities, excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams, proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, or ServiceNow), ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attributes: Organized, proactive, and adaptable to evolving technology and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with hybrid or multi-cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Background in managing large-scale infrastructure projects in industries such as finance, healthcare, or government.
