Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Project Manager to join the Construction Team in our Cleveland office. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least ten years of construction project experience are required.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is required; construction management background preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of related engineering or construction management experience.
• Excellent technical writing, organization, and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site liaison with the client and community.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Conduct field inspections.
• Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing.
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage resources to deliver project on time and under budget while meeting client expectations.
• Provide design/technical expertise to project.
• Coordinate the design function with various team members.
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks.
• Generate additional sales through business development activities.
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings.
• Attend client, staff and project meetings.
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment.
