Job summary

Wade Trim is seeking a Project Manager for the Cleveland Construction Team. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and have at least ten years of construction project experience.

Strong technical writing, organization and communication skills are essential, with the ability to mentor staff and manage budgets and schedules. The role emphasizes client liaison, field inspections, and collaboration with contractors to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 10 years of related engineering or construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-site liaison with the client and community.
• Maintain excellent client relations.
• Conduct field inspections.
• Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding construction project activity.
• Mentor junior staff.
• Responsible for project proposal development including positioning, approach, preparation and pricing.
• Responsible for project execution including scope, schedule and budget.
• Manage resources to deliver project on time and under budget while meeting client expectations.
• Provide design/technical expertise to project.
• Coordinate the design function with project team members.
• Ensure employees have knowledge and tools to complete tasks.
• Generate additional sales through business development activities.
• Supervise project review (QA/QC) meetings.
• Assist with project reports and technical presentations.
• Attend client, staff and project meetings.
• Estimate fees, review project plans and specifications.
• Maintain a safe working environment.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field (preferred)

High school diploma

10+ years of related engineering or construction management experience
