Job summary

Technamo LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager located in Austin, Texas, to oversee project design and development. The ideal candidate will manage projects using Agile methodology and ensure alignment with state guidelines while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders.

The position requires a minimum of 10 years of Project Management experience, particularly with large enterprise implementations and a strong background in the State of Texas project management landscape. Qualifications

  • 10 years Project Management Experience for large-scale Enterprise Implementations.
  • 7 years of State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience.
  • 5 years of Project Management/Systems Analyst Experience leading projects.

Technamois a Tier-I Contractor to provideIT Services to virginia govt. agencies (70+ entities) and contracted to provide services to state govt. New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Delaware and Maryland govt. agencies.

Job Description

Summary of duties:

  • Overseeing design and development work
  • Ensuring project meets the standard HHSC guidelines and procedures and developing project artifacts in accordance with Texas Project Delivery Framework
  • Managing the project with feature driven Agile methodology, overseeing and tracking development progress, and ensuring project assignments and progresses align with project timelines
  • Developing and managing project plans
  • Documenting risks, issues, and contingency plans; ensuring resolution of issues and removal of project barriers
  • Providing weekly status updates (written and verbal) and conducting regular project team status meetings
  • Overseeing the development of SDLC artifacts, ensuring business requirements get translated into technical specifications, guiding, and facilitating the SDLC process
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Possessing strong communication and presentation skills
  • Possessing strong teamwork skills
  • Transferring working knowledge to current staff

  • 7 years of State of Texas or Similar Federal/State Project Management Experience
  • 5 years of Project Management /Systems Analyst Experience leading and managing large ERP (or similar) projects
  • 3 years of Agile (Scrum) Experience
  • 3 years of Development Experience
