AZAD Technology Partners in Portland, OR is seeking a Project Manager to facilitate business projects within the Customer Support Services organization. The role serves as a point-of-contact, collaborating with a facility manager, team members, and business stakeholders to plan project stages and monitor progress to meet deadlines, standards, and targets.

This is a 2-year plus consultant position, full-time on-site, five days a week, with a competitive hourly pay rate and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business administration or related field.
• 5 years of PM experience required with degree.
• 10 years of PM experience required without degree.
• Experience with project management software.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects concurrently.
• Knowledge of System Life Cycle (SLC) principles.
• Planning work streams, tracking issues, risks, milestones, and decisions.
• Experience with Visio flowcharts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project timelines and resources.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID required.

Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Project Manager and work within the Customer Support Services organization. The role of the Project Manager is to facilitate business projects supporting various Customer Support Services teams. The Project Manager in this assignment will serve as a point-of-contact, collaborating with the facility manager, team members, and business stakeholders to plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage as well as monitoring progress and reviewing controls to assure deadlines, standards, and targets are met.

This is a 2 year plus consultant position with high probability of long term and ongoing continued employment. This position is full time on site based in Portland, OR with onsite 5 days per week. The hourly pay rate for this position (which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09) is between $42.34 and $60.09 depending on related qualifications and experience, as well as composition of selected compensation package.

The ideal candidate must possess the minimum qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in business administration (or closely related field) is preferred.
• 5 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor's degree.
• 10 years of experience is required without a degree or an applicable degree.
• Experience direct work experience in project management field, including all aspects of process development and execution including strong familiarity with project management software.
• 5 years of demonstrated project management experience on projects using industry standard methods and tools for managing schedules, dependencies, resources, funding, and developing technical specifications and project plans.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience successfully coordinating or running multiple projects simultaneously.
• 5 years of demonstrated working knowledge of System Life Cycle (SLC) principles.
• Demonstrated experience in project planning for assigned work streams, managing priorities, deliverables and milestones, identifying and tracking project issues, risks, management decisions, and action items.
• Demonstrated experience with Visio flowcharts or similar software.
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Project or similar project management software, including familiarity with the fundamental operation, function, and workflow of Microsoft Project timelines, dependencies, deliverables, milestones, and resources.
• Valid U.S. Driver's License or RealID is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
• Change Management
• Business Analysis
• Experience in a government/utility organization
• Working knowledge of software testing from test plan development to reliable and verifiable test case development and results.
• Ability to facilitate story development with product owner, manage project backlog, facilitate sprint planning sessions, and manage task burndown.
