Job summary

Lumicity is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate commercial interior construction projects from pre-bid through closeout across multiple active projects in the Midwest.

You will plan, schedule, and manage budgets, oversee subcontractors, and act as the primary client contact throughout the lifecycle. Strong communication skills and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and PlanGrid are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of construction management experience on commercial, healthcare, or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction systems, documents, and contract management.
• Proficient in MS Project, Excel, and Outlook; PlanGrid and QuickBid a plus.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Manage day-to-day operations including subcontractor coordination, change orders, and safety compliance

My client is a well established commercial specialty contractor in the Midwest with decades of experience across healthcare, retail, hospitality, office, industrial, and municipal markets. They self perform a wide range of interior construction scopes and have a strong presence across the Midwest.

The Role

They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate all phases of commercial interior construction projects from pre-bid through final closeout across multiple active projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule projects and attend pre-bid, pre-construction, and OAC meetings
• Develop and manage budgets, control schedules, and assist with job costing
• Manage day-to-day operations including subcontractor coordination, change orders, and safety compliance
• Serve as the primary client point of contact throughout the project lifecycle
