Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking a Project Manager in Dublin to lead projects from construction through handover, coordinating on-site design teams and contractors.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in ESB-type projects, strong leadership and IT project management skills, and proven ability to manage key stakeholders in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Ideally 4+ years’ experience in ESB projects.
• Proficient with MS Project, Teams, Excel, Word, Email.
• Electrical background is essential.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong project management IT skills.
• Experience managing client relationships from pre-works to project completion.
• Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to build strong working relationships with project team and stakeholders.
• Experience on large-scale utility projects preferred.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and successfully manage projects from construction to handover.
• Coordinate on-site design teams and contractors.
• Procurement of materials for the project.
• Engage with stakeholders across the lifecycle (Renewable developers, Local Authorities, ESB Networks, landowners, etc.).
• Promote and lead Health & Safety processes.
• Develop, implement, and monitor project cost, budget plans and programming.
• Prepare documents for tender submissions.
• Control the project programme during construction.
• Review design drawings prior to construction and manage RFI schedule.
• Collaborate with HSQE, Design, Quality, Commercial teams.
• Implement ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 procedures.

Profile

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and successfully manage projects from through from construction to handover.
• Manage and co-ordinate the appropriate design team personnel and on-site contractors.
• Managing the procurement of materials processes for the project
• Deal directly and effectively with relevant stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle e.g., Renewable developers, Local Authorities, ESB Networks, landowners, legal profession etc.
• Implementation, promote and lead the businesses Health & Safety processes
• Develop, implement, and monitor project cost, budget plans & programming.
• Tender submissions - preparation of necessary documents for inclusion in tenders
• Take control of the project programme for the duration of the construction process
• Review design drawings prior to construction to ensure. Take control of the RFI schedule.
• Actively co-operate with internal departments. HSQE, Design, Quality, Commercial.
• Implementation of ISO 9001, ISO14001 & ISO 45001 procedures as required.

Ideal Background
