Job Description

Position: Network Operations Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement network operations procedures.
2. Maintain a broad knowledge of state-of-the-art network technology, equipment, and systems.
3. Plan, direct, and control activities of network operations under general supervision.
4. Prepare activity, progress, and service level agreement performance reports.
5. Develop and manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate them clearly to stakeholders.
6. Define problem-solving and risk mitigation strategies; facilitate conflict resolution.
7. Serve as a technical and team leader for product development projects involving multiple disciplines.
8. Manage all facets of technical projects to ensure deliverables meet schedule, budget, and quality goals.
9. Estimate fees, determine scope of work, and prepare proposals and contracts.
10. Facilitate collaboration among Development, Engineering, Production, Marketing, QA, and Sales teams.

Qualifications

Required:

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 6+ years of experience, or 6 years as a Technology Consultant/Software Engineer, with Professional Engineer registration.
2. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SOTS, BMP, TIRKS, and RMIN.
3. Solid understanding of DHCP principles and experience interfacing with server management groups supporting IP management.
4. Familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.
