Job Description

Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX

Duration: 6 months

Position: Network Vulnerability Analyst

The goal of this role is to analyze network scan data, collaborate with analytical teams, and apply knowledge of network fundamentals, tools, and current technology implementations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Analyze and execute established vulnerability management programs.
  • Coordinate with leadership on technical vulnerabilities impacting enterprise operations.
  • Implement patch and vulnerability management practices to prevent exploitation.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments on systems, applications, and databases.
  • Research current vulnerabilities and exploits using trusted resources.
  • Participate in team meetings related to responsibilities.
  • Enforce security and change management policies.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external customers to gather requirements and address concerns.
  • Be available for after-hours escalations as part of a 24x7 support team.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of leadership experience with technical knowledge of networks, hardware, optical, storage, OS, and applications.
  • 5+ years of experience with Windows Server (all versions) and Linux OS.
  • Experience with enterprise network platforms such as Cisco, Citrix NetScaler, Juniper, and Foundry.
  • Experience configuring and managing Cisco ASA firewalls.
  • Customer service experience of 5+ years.
  • Preferred certifications: CCNA, CISSP, or similar.
  • Scripting experience with Bash and Perl.
  • Knowledge of HP NA (Opsware).
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols and Internet technologies.
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience in large networks.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Creativity in utilizing technology to solve business problems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with ITIL v3 framework.
  • Ability to learn and leverage emerging technologies.
