  • Oversee client delivery services, including understanding requirements, maintaining relations, and managing delivery performance.
  • Oversee financial metrics, cost controls, monthly reporting, and subcontractor management.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth and support capture and proposal development.

Job description

Dynamis is seeking a Project Manager to support the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) implementation of the National Preparedness System (NPS) and National Incident Management System (NIMS). The PM will oversee a multidisciplinary team tasked with developing materials to support NIMS implementation, developing and producing new or updated NIMS resource typing documents, supporting the development of the National Qualification System (NQS), and developing and implementing a strategy to collect and analyze preparedness data across FEMA’s National Integration Center’s (NIC) program areas.

These focus areas are central to the nation's ability to build, sustain, and deliver core capabilities in support of the National Preparedness Goal and System. NIMS resource typing and NQS documents are essential to ensuring the maximum level of mission readiness at the local, state, tribal, territorial, and federal levels for day-to-day mutual aid and preparedness for major disasters. The PM will provide the NIC with technical, administrative, and programmatic support, including project coordination and administrative assistance, document development and technical writing and editing, communications, information and document management, and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC).

  • Provide project management, leadership, and oversight of a team of subject matter experts (SMEs), analysts, and support staff in supporting implementation of NIMS and NQS; development of NQS resource typing documents; NIC communications; data collection, analysis, and visualization; workshop, meeting, and training support; and technical writing and editing
  • Serve as the primary Interface for Dynamis with the FEMA client, ensuring superior service and delivery excellence in support of exercise programmatic requirements.
  • Oversee client delivery services, including understanding client requirements, maintaining client relations, and managing delivery performance.
  • Oversee financial and other business metrics necessary to effectively execute the contract, such as cost controls, monthly reporting, and subcontractor management.
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth on the contract and support capture and proposal development efforts.
