Revolution Power Solutions, a division of INNIO Waukesha Engines, seeks a hands-on Project Manager to lead complex power generation and oilfield equipment projects. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent).
  • 7+ years of project management experience in power generation, oil & gas, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Proven track record delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and customer relationship management skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and execute project work plans aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Own full project lifecycle from order intake to handover, including installation and commissioning.
  • Schedule, monitor, and track project progress to meet deadlines and budgets.
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering on high-value projects to mitigate risks.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations and ensure scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Identify and manage project risks while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Recognize business development opportunities within ongoing projects.
  • Negotiate and manage change orders to optimize margins.
  • Ensure revenue recognition, invoicing, and dispute resolution in accordance with contracts.
  • Analyze and report on project financial performance and utilization.
  • Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders; ensure QHSE compliance.
  • Manage supplier relationships and procurement of project materials.
  • Provide input on continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.

About The Role

Lead complex and strategic projects within our power generation and oilfield equipment packaging business. As the primary interface with customers, this role is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet contractual obligations while maintaining high customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will also collaborate with the sales team to assess project risks and improve execution strategies during the quotation process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and execute project work plans, adjusting as necessary to align with customer requirements and business objectives.
  • Full project lifecycle ownership from order intake, managing delivery, and installation to pre-commissioning activities, including commissioning till contractual handover to the end-customer
  • Project scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of project progress to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables to ensure in-time order execution
  • Collaborate with sales and engineering teams on high-value and strategic projects to identify and mitigate execution risks.
  • Oversee day-to-day project operations, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
  • Identify and manage project risks while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Recognize business development and expansion opportunities within ongoing projects.
  • Negotiate and manage change orders to optimize project margins.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition, invoicing, and dispute resolution to maintain financial integrity.
  • Analyze and report project financial performance, including profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Ensure compliance with company and industry QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental) standards.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and oversee procurement of project-related materials.
  • Provide input on continuous process improvements and operational efficiencies.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • min. 7 years of experience in project management, preferably within the power generation, oil & gas, or industrial equipment sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and Oracle ERP systems.
  • PMP certification is a plus but not mandatory

  • Office-based with occasional site visits as required
  • Manual dexterity required for computer use and office tasks
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Some overtime may be required based on project demands
