Job summary

G&E Partners in Virginia seeks a Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead excavation, grading and site development for large-scale projects. You will own delivery from planning to hand-off, coordinating with field teams, clients and engineers.

Travel around 25% within the Mid-Atlantic; relocation assistance and a strong compensation package with bonus, per diem and retirement benefits. This is a lead role driving safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

I'm partnering with one of the Top #5 Specialty Contractors in the United States to appoint a Heavy Civil Project Manager to deliver large-scale excavation, grading and civil packages across some of the most iconic data center developments in North America - specifically across VIRGINIA

About the Role

Based in Virginia, you'll take ownership of major heavy civil scopes, working closely with field operations, clients and project teams to safely deliver complex excavation, grading and site development packages.

Travel is approximately 25% across Virginia/the Mid-Atlantic.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale excavation, grading and civil packages
• Work closely with field operations, clients and project teams
• Manage budgets, programmes, subcontractors and client relationships
• Become one of the business's key operational leaders across Virginia

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in management across heavy civil & large-scale commercial construction
• Strong background in excavation, earthwork, grading and site development
• Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and overall project delivery
• Highly organised, with the ability to oversee multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
• Confident building strong relationships with owners, project engineers and local authorities
• Experience leading teams with highest standards of safety, quality and performance
• Competent in project take-offs, estimating and cost control
