Qualifications

Job description

Meyer Lab is seeking a results-driven Project Manager. The Project Manager leads execution on strategic initiatives and business transformation efforts that improve organizational performance, support organizational growth, and drive enterprise-wide changes. This role partners with cross functional business leaders to deliver measurable business value through process improvement, technology enablement, organizational change, and effective project execution.

  • Lead enterprise-wide initiatives from concept through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives, strategic priorities, budgets, and timelines.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute initiatives that improve operational and sales performance, scalability, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Establish and manage project governance, including project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, risk management, change control processes, and executive reporting.
  • Lead cross-functional teams consisting of operations, go-to-market (GTM) finance, and technology business stakeholders, along with external partners, to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities by analyzing workflows, bottlenecks, and operational inefficiencies, and present recommendations to executive leadership that improve productivity, quality, and customer experience.
  • Implement technology, automation, and AI-enabled solutions that streamline operations, improve decision-making, and support business growth.
  • Translate business requirements into actionable plans, functional specifications, SOPs, process documentation, and implementation playbooks.
  • Partner with business leaders to lead change management activities, including stakeholder engagement, communications, training, and adoption of new processes, technologies, and ways of working.
  • Define, monitor, and report on KPIs and business outcomes to ensure initiatives deliver expected operational, financial, and strategic value.
  • Lead acquisition integration initiatives, including integration playbook refinement and implementation, process alignment, systems integration, organizational readiness, and synergy realization while meeting established timelines.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while executing the disciplined work of defining processes, implementing systems, and building the operational foundation required to transform and professionalize the organization.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proven ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality, accountability, alignment with business objectives, and consistent delivery against established deadlines.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and critical-thinking capabilities.
  • Strong communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills with the ability to build credibility across all organizational levels, navigate difficult conversations, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Proven ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into practical solutions and documentation.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other project management tools (i.e. Smartsheet).
  • Proven ability to lead change, drive accountability, and deliver measurable business results.
Required Work Experience
  • Proven project management experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects and business transformation initiatives within mid-market organizations.
  • Proven success developing and executing project plans, budgets, resource strategies, timelines, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Experience driving process improvement, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness initiatives; Lean, Continuous Improvement, or similar methodology experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations, including integration playbook development and implementation, process harmonization, systems integration, organizational alignment, and synergy realization.
Preferred Work Experience
  • Experience leading technology-enabled transformation efforts, including automation, systems optimization, and business process improvements.
  • Experience within manufacturing, supply chain, or sales environments preferred, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Education
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Project Management Professional certification preferred.
Travel & Physical Requirements
  • Travel will be required as business needs require. Examples: field ride days with the go-to-market team and acquisition site visits and integration work.
  • Desk and computer work required.
  • Lifting required up to 50 lbs.
