Job summary

Ciena, a global leader in high-speed connectivity, is seeking an Associate Services Project Manager to help deliver customer services projects. You will work under a Senior Project Manager in a collaborative, matrix environment, coordinating across Customer Operations, Sales, Service Delivery, Finance, and other teams to meet objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead project implementation activities within customer networks.

The must haves: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Experience: Up to 12 months related project management work experience strongly preferred. Application of critical thinking and analysis to evaluate multidimensional problems and generate solutions. Application of judgment and decision-making across multiple alternatives. Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities. Ability to work collaboratively within a matrix organization involving multiple stakeholders. Utilization of Microsoft Project and Salesforce project management tools.
