As a Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing integrated medical communications projects. Your focus will be ensuring deliverables are executed on time, within scope, and on budget, while coordinating with cross-functional teams and maintaining strong client relationships. This role is central to creating high-impact solutions that make a measurable difference in health and life sciences.

Base pay range

$80,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, including advisory boards, training materials, educational programs, digital assets, and congress deliverables.
  • Planning & Execution: Develop clear project timelines in tools like Hive or Smartsheet, ensuring alignment with client milestones and internal resources.
  • Team Coordination: Lead cross-functional and remote teams, clearly communicating deliverables, risks, and progress.
  • Client Engagement: Act as a point of contact for clients, relaying project updates, risks, and solutions in collaboration with account teams.
  • Financial Oversight: Track budgets, monitor actual hours versus planned, and ensure timely vendor invoice approvals.
  • Quality Assurance: Manage client review cycles, approvals, and ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to refining internal processes and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently.
  • Business Development Support: Provide input on project estimates, plans, and resourcing for new and organic business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven background in project management, with some exposure to account management.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication, including the ability to present confidently in business settings.
  • Leadership: Comfortable leading internal and client-facing meetings, ensuring clarity on project goals and progress.
  • Collaboration: Experienced in working with cross-functional and remote teams to deliver results.
  • Adaptability: Skilled at adjusting communication style to fit diverse audiences and project contexts.
