Working cross-functionally with commercial, pricing, and strategy teams, they use data-driven decision making to drive growth and retention. This contract offers the opportunity to contribute directly to high-profile strategic initiatives.
The Role and Deliverables
- Lead and support end-to-end packaging and pricing business cases, including market sizing, hypothesis development, commercial evaluation, and test recommendations.
- Own recurring add/drop content and network decision-making, balancing cost, customer engagement, churn risk, and competitive positioning.
- Translate complex programming and content economics into clear consumer packaging recommendations.
- Interpret market research, pricing analysis, customer surveys, UX insights, contact centre signals, and churn analysis to develop decision-ready viewpoints.
- Challenge assumptions, evaluate alternative scenarios, and provide evidence-based recommendations to senior stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with pricing, planning, and commercial strategy teams to optimise package performance and customer outcomes.
Your Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in pricing strategy, commercial strategy, packaging strategy, or related analytical functions.
- Advanced Excel and spreadsheet modelling skills, including pricing scenarios, sensitivity analysis, and market sizing.
- SQL proficiency with the ability to query, extract, validate, and analyse data independently.
- Strong data interpretation and visualisation capabilities using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Experience working with customer, survey, behavioural, churn, or operational datasets to support strategic decision-making.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate analysis into clear PowerPoint presentations and recommendations.
- Strong understanding of subscription-based consumer businesses, ideally within pay TV, streaming, telecommunications, or digital media environments.
- Ability to navigate complex commercial trade-offs and influence stakeholders through insight-led thinking.
- Exposure to Databricks, Python, R, AI-enabled market intelligence tools, media measurement platforms, or test-and-learn methodologies would be advantageous.
