Job summary

My3Tech is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate large-scale initiatives. The role is primarily remote with occasional on-site reporting, working a 37.5-hour week.

You will support project planning, rollout of change-request workflows, and configure portfolio/project management modules in an enterprise PPM tool, collaborating with the SDLC team and delivering training and governance support company-wide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IT project management experience in an actual PM role.
• At least 3 years in program, portfolio, or agile PM.
• Experience with software testing, training, and user guide development.
• Strong scheduling using Microsoft Project or similar enterprise PPM tool; Visio and Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Assist PMs with project planning and scheduling using enterprise PPM tools.
• Support rollout of change-request workflow in the PPM tool.
• Leverage PPM experience to configure portfolio, program, or agile modules.
• Collaborate with the SDLC team from requirements to testing.
• Pilot module rollout and support enterprise-wide adoption.
• Create role-specific training, tips, and knowledge base articles.
• Contribute to governance committees evaluating PPM capabilities.

CoPA is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager

37.5 hours per week position

Position is primarily remote, but they will be expected to report on-site on an ad hoc basis

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

• 1. Support PMs with project planning & scheduling adoption with Microsoft Project-like capabilities through demos, office hours, and 1-on-1 help.
• 2. Support the rollout of project change request workflow in our tool and its adoption.
• 3. Leverage experience with PPM business processes to help configure/develop portfolio, program, and/or agile management module(s) within the enterprise PPM tool.
• 4. Collaborate with the PPM tool development team's SDLC - from requirements definition through testing.
• 5. Pilot the rollout of the above module(s) and then support expanded use across the enterprise.
• 6. Create and deliver role-specific training, tips & tricks, and knowledge base articles to make the most of the PPM tool capabilities.
• 7. Contribute to the ongoing support of governance committees that assess, approve, and prioritize PPM tool capabilities.
• 8. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 7 years of IT project management experience in actual project manager role. Working on projects in any other role does not count.
• Minimum 3 years of program, portfolio, or agile project management experience.
• Experience with software testing, training, and user guide development.
• High proficiency in project scheduling in Microsoft Project or another enterprise class PPM tool.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Visio and Office suite.
