Job summary

ECI Software Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to architect, coordinate, and manage ERP project plans across customer, implementation, and support teams. You will define scope, schedule, and budget, acting as the single point of contact for customers and executives to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires strong risk management, stakeholder communication, and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Implementation, Support, Product, and other teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, accounting, and/or an IT-related field.
• ERP hands-on and full life-cycle project implementation experience desired.
• Understanding of ERP concepts and processes.
• Experience managing partner relationships a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows environments.
• Experience with project/work management platforms such as Asana.

The Project Manager is responsible for architecting, coordinating, and managing the project plan between the customer point of contact and the ECI resources assigned to the project. The Project Manager works with customers to define and confirm scope, schedule, and budget for each project. This role acts as the single point of contact for the customer during the engagement, flowing communication both to and from the customer, and monitors and controls implementation projects to ensure successful completion. The role requires strong risk management discipline and the ability to coordinate effectively across departments, as well as the communication skills to engage confidently with project sponsors and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement our Deacom ERP software according to ECI's standard methodology
• Manage the delivery of strategic and complex projects with multiple phases and initiatives
• Create project plans using templated tools to outline goals, milestones, project governance, and overall timeline
• Lead the planning, development, and execution of multiple programs to meet the strategic vision
• Manage resources, budget, and funding requests to drive program execution
• Review Statements of Work (SOWs) to understand service deliverables
• Own risk management for each project: proactively identify project risks, assess their potential impact, and drive mitigation plans before they become issues
• Coordinate across departments (Sales, Implementation, Support, Product, and others) to keep project teams aligned and remove cross-functional roadblocks
• Apply knowledge of and experience with change control, risk management, project planning, team management, budgeting, and scheduling
• Facilitate the development of business and technical requirements, system design, configuration, testing, training, conversion, activation activities, and transition to support
• Manage customer relations to ensure customers are actively engaged throughout the project life cycle
• Keep leadership informed through reports and status meetings to ensure project plans and deliverables are met, potential risks are identified and resolved, and customer expectations are reached
• Conduct regular status calls with customers as needed and based on project scope
• Provide timely and comprehensive updates on all assigned projects to both internal and external customers
• Disseminate information on any problems or potential delays in a timely manner
• Assign and delegate work assignments to project team members
• Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members
• Perform other duties including but not limited to: user conference presentations, team meetings, knowledge base updates, and methodology improvements
• Manage administrative tasks including weekly time sheets and recap reports in a timely, complete, and accurate manner
• Manage several projects at a time, at different stages

Qualifications

• Understanding of common industry business practices in manufacturing, operations, distribution, and finance
• 2+ years of ERP hands-on, full life-cycle project implementation experience with comparable ERP software as a Project Manager (preferably with Deacom or other manufacturing ERP system)
• Understanding of ERP application concepts
• May manage partner relationships
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and Microsoft Windows
• Experience with project and work management platforms such as Asana
