Job description

  • Location: Preferred: MA, CT, OH, or NY (hybrid); other US locations also considered
  • Reports To: SVP, Applied Innovation

At OpinionRoute, we are redefining how Market Research Agencies run their operations. From programming to sample to data quality and data visualization, we are building the technology not usually accessible to the MRA.

The Navigator (our research operating system) runs the whole project process. Our market-leading Data Quality & Fraud Prevention suite (CleanID, ResponseID, QC Flow) mitigates today’s toughest quality threats. Our enhanced survey Programming & Hosting services are how we make more dynamic surveys for forward-thinking researchers.

We are built for researchers, not investors. Our mission is to take the chaos out of market research operations through modern automation, AI-assisted quality control, and frictionless workflows.

This role sits between the teams that build our technology and the teams that sell, deliver, and use it. You will report directly to our SVP of Applied Innovation.

We ship enhancements continuously across our internal AI tools, the Navigator and its supporting tools, and our survey programming and hosting platform. Your job is to help us get the most out of every one of them, making sure each release is understood, adopted, and turned into real value for our users.

  • The build side: Applied Innovation, Engineering, and Survey System Development. You will be in the know, brought in early, and help shape how it is released.
  • The adoption side: Operations, Sales, and Marketing, plus our clients. You prepare them for each release, the problems each features olves, the opportunities each function unlocks, and help them put it to work.
  • Our tech team is producing upgrades at lightning speed. You’ll partner with functional leaders to map how this will help their team work better.
  • Translate complex technical capabilities (e.g., AI fraud detection, workflow automation, AI-assisted survey programming) into practical every-day guidance for the people who use them.
  • Bring feedback from internal teams and clients back to the build teams as clear requirements, priorities, and business cases.
  • Plan and coordinate rollouts of survey programming and hosting enhancements, Navigator features and tools, internal AI tools, and data quality capabilities (CleanID, ResponseID, QC Flow).
  • Define positioning and value propositions for market research executives, survey programmers, and research operations leads, partnering with Marketing on external messaging.
  • Treat our internal teams as clients: launch every new AI tool, Navigator feature, and system enhancement to them with the same care as a client release.
  • Run internal launch campaigns, including announcements, release notes, quick-start guides, short demos, and spotlights on how colleagues are putting new tools to work.
  • Host onboarding sessions, office hours, and hands-on walkthroughs so teams get value from new capabilities quickly.
  • Partner with teams to spot where new capabilities can simplify or automate their day-to-day work.
  • Equip Sales and client teams with demo flows, battle cards, sales briefs, ROI calculators, and feature release guides.
  • Create client-facing instructions and how-to guides for new capabilities, and partner with Marketing on supporting collateral.
  • Turn technical differentiators (e.g., pre-field vs. post-field fraud mitigation, AI open-end auditing) into crisp, credible sales narratives.
  • Define what success looks like the quarterly collection of releases, track how it is used, internally and with clients.
  • Share the value created, including time savings, process improvements, automation, and quality gains.
  • Partner with Product and Operations on client onboarding, including guided and self-service paths for platforms and API integrations.
  • Hold ongoing customer conversations to validate fit and identify expansion opportunities.
  • Track market trends, competitor technology shifts, and evolving data quality threats.
  • Experience: 3 to 5 years in technology adoption, operations implementation, solutions consulting, product operations, or go-to-market roles, preferably within Market Research, Insights, or other closely related field.
  • Innovative MR Operator: Track record of cross-functional work that turns new capabilities into everyday use across MR Operations teams.
  • Domain Knowledge: Market research or survey technology experience is strongly preferred, ideally with exposure to survey programming, sampling operations, or panel management. Strong SaaS adoption candidates will be considered.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, from step-by-step guides to executive-level stories.
  • AI Fluency: Daily, hands-on use of AI tools, with examples of work you have built, automated, or produced with them.
  • Technical Aptitude: Understanding of research technologies, workflows, and AI/ML concept applications.
  • Make the Most of What We Build: Your work determines how much value each new capability delivers, for clients and for the team that built it.
  • Forward-Thinking Technology: Work hands-on with AI, automation, and next-generation survey technology in an industry tackling some of its biggest problems: data integrity and operational waste.
  • Collaborative, Productive Team: Work directly with leadership and alongside a team that shares knowledge, moves quickly, and gets things done.
  • Culture: A pragmatic, human-first culture built by researchers, for researchers.
