Position: Project Manager – Sports Practice
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead projects within our Sports Studio in Riverside. This role supports the design of athletic facilities that inspire athletes, engage fans, and strengthen communities.
Overview
As Project Manager, you will oversee all phases of one or more projects, ensuring timely completion within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality and design excellence. You will lead project teams, coordinate with consultants, and engage directly with clients to deliver award‑winning sports venues.

Responsibilities
- Support business development – participate in RFQ, RFP, and interview processes.
- Negotiate scopes of services, fees, and prepare agreements with clients and consultants.
- Maintain accurate project data in management systems.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, and staffing.
- Coordinate drawings, specifications, and documentation to align with design intent and budget.
- Lead collaboration within project teams, fostering innovative design solutions.
- Integrate QA/QC procedures and practice standards into deliverables, resolve issues.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, vendors, and consultants to meet client expectations for scope, quality, budget, and schedule.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure submittals meet quality standards.
- Communicate project status, identify necessary adjustments, and propose client‑directed solutions.
- Provide leadership and performance feedback; contribute to recruitment of team members.
- Establish clear communication with clients to ensure timely decisions.
- Collaborate with design leaders for compliance with quality standards and integration of design expertise.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years as a project manager.
- Professional licensure preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of local building and zoning codes.
- Proficiency in Revit, Vantagepoint, Planifi, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong design technique knowledge, including sustainable design principles.
- Excellent written, verbal, and graphic communication skills; ability to multitask while maintaining high quality.
Benefits & Compensation
