PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and deploys project management methodology for various projects of varying sizes across the enterprise.
- Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or enterprise-wide projects that cross over functional boundaries and involve multiple operating units.
- Develops and implements project management methodology for the organization.
- Develops comprehensive project work plans that align with customer requirements and company strategy.
- Establishes the project environment, providing the infrastructure for the project. This includes project tracking systems and incorporating project management standards.
- Delegates activities and tasks to appropriate personnel.
- Identifies key stakeholders, defines project roles and responsibilities, and partners with various technical personnel during all project phases. Ensures personnel resource availability and allocation.
- Build relationships to influence and promote cross-functional collaboration.
- Monitors, tracks, adjusts, and updates project milestones and deliverables. Provides detailed project reports and updates to stakeholders, as required. Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Monitors the progress of assigned projects and adjusts as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
- Monitors and controls project activities including change to scope, schedule, cost, risk, and quality.
- Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts within project team.
- Promotes a positive team environment, providing support, motivation, and encouragement to team members.
- Develop and empower project team members by providing clear expectations, training, tools and resources, while removing obstacles and facilitating collaboration to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Participates in hiring processes and trains new personnel.
- Develops, reviews, and edits project requests. Reviews proposal requirements, specifications, business processes, and provides recommendations based on scope and prioritization of work.
- Ensures change control process adherence throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manages organizational projects and/or change control workflows.
- Coordinates project planning, execution, and control. Appropriately escalates decisions and road blocks and ensures project deliverables are completed, and effectiveness criteria are met.
- Coordinates project activities for internal personnel resources and third parties/vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders, vendors, clients, and project team members, coordinating communication, managing expectations, resolving issues, and aligning resources to ensure successful project execution and delivery of business objectives.
- Closes projects, preparing project summaries and archives project documentation.
- Conducts project lessons learned and project effectiveness evaluations.
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project documentation that is complete, accurate, and in compliance with CTS SOPs and all applicable regulatory and quality requirements.
- Maintains systems in area and evolves as part of continuous improvement to cultivate change and innovation.
- Administers the organization's project management and change control software applications.
- Configures and updates project management and change control software applications as per business needs.
- Develops processes, procedures, training, and support for project and change management software solutions and processes for the department and other users in the organization. This includes maintaining the structure of the system, training new users, and developing new templates, workflows, dashboards, and reports.
- Monitors the application's performance and troubleshoots any issues encountered.
- Collaborates with the IT team and works with software vendors for resolving any technical issues.
- Implements the latest patches and upgrades to ensure the application is up to date.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive documentation related to the software application.
