Baker Hughes is seeking a Project Manager to lead aftermarket power generation projects. You will work with Field Service and Shop Repair teams to ensure top-tier customer service while managing domestic and international projects.

You will have project profit/loss accountability and drive customer satisfaction through effective planning and execution. The role supports flexible hybrid hours from a Turtle Creek, PA Baker office and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in project management, with experience in field service or contract management in power generation travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects aligned with value, schedule and budget.
• Identify customer contacts and build relationships across account layers.
• Coordinate procurement and internal processes for project materials and services.
• Report major project KPIs such as on-time delivery, revenue vs. plan and project margin.
• Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to close-out and warranty considerations.
• Coordinate communications between customer and company through order receipt to contract end.
• Coordinate recruitment of project personnel and tooling across departments.
• Review project performance regularly and escalate issues to senior management.
• Record and communicate project milestones to ensure on-time invoicing.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation plans.

As a Project Manager, you will working directly with the Field Service and Shop Repair teams to provide the highest level of customer service. You will be managing domestic and international power generation projects for aftermarket services. You will have project profit and loss accountability and will be responsible for customer satisfaction through the management of project related activities and resources.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects assuring that the activities are in line with the value proposition, schedule, and budget.
• Identifying proper customer points of contact in each layer of customer accounts and building relationships; fostering customer intimacy.
• Monitoring, coordinating, and expediting all the internal processes for the procurement of project materials and services.
• Reporting major project KPI’s to leadership such as on time delivery, actual revenue versus planned revenue, project margin.
• Managing entire project lifecycle from planning stage through the completion of all contractual delivery obligations, including project close-out review.
• Coordinate all communications between the customer and the Company in a timely manner, from receipt of order through the end of the contract or warranty period if applicable.
• Coordinate activity within internal departments for recruitment of project personnel and tooling.
• Regularly review project performance and report any significant issues of concern to senior management when the situation warrants.
• Reporting completion of project milestones to ensure on‑time invoicing.
• Effectively negotiating and recording customer project variations ensuring relevant internal departments are notified in a timely manner.
• Ensuring final project reports and workbooks are completed on time and in‑full.
• Identifying risks and opportunities and developing plans for mitigation and enhancement/growth.

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline or equivalent from an accredited university and 2+yrs of experience in project management.
• Have proven records of Project Manager, field service, or contract management in industrial Power Generation Travel as required to support order execution. Examples may include Customer visits, External Kickoff or progress meetings, key supplier visits, etc
