Job summary

Baker Hughes Holdings LLC is seeking a Project Manager to lead moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects. You will work with Field Service and Shop Repair teams to ensure top-level customer service, managing projects from planning to close-out and coordinating across internal departments.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of project management experience, plus ability to travel as needed for order execution and project milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent from an accredited university.
• 2+ years of experience in project management.
• Travel as required to support order execution. Examples may include Customer visits, External Kickoff or progress meetings, key supplier visits, etc

Responsibilities

• Deliver moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects ensuring activities align with value proposition, schedule, and budget.
• Identify customer points of contact and build relationships; foster customer intimacy.
• Coordinate internal processes for procurement of project materials and services.
• Report major project KPI's to leadership such as on-time delivery, revenue vs planned revenue, project margin.
• Manage entire project lifecycle from planning through contractual delivery and close-out.
• Coordinate communications between customer and Company from order receipt to contract/warranty end.
• Coordinate recruitment of project personnel and tooling within internal departments.
• Review project performance and report significant issues to senior management.
• Report completion of milestones to ensure on-time invoicing.
• Negotiate and record customer project variations with relevant departments notified timely.
• Ensure final project reports and workbooks are completed on time and in-full.
• Identify risks and opportunities and develop mitigation/growth plans.

As a Project Manager, you will working directly with the Field Service and Shop Repair teams to provide the highest level of customer service. You will be managing domestic and international power generation projectsfor aftermarket services. You will have project profit and loss accountability and will be responsible for customer satisfaction through the management of project related activities and resources.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Delivering moderate to complex aftermarket power generation projects assuring that the activities are in line with the value proposition, schedule, and budget.
• Identifying proper customer points of contact in each layer of customer accounts and building relationships; fostering customer intimacy.
• Monitoring, coordinating, and expediting all the internal processes for the procurement of project materials and services.
• Reporting major project KPI's to leadership such as on time delivery, actual revenue versus planned revenue, project margin.
• Managing entire project lifecycle from planning stage through the completion of all contractual delivery obligations, including project close-out review.
• Coordinate all communications between the customer and the Company in a timely manner, from receipt of order through the end of the contract or warranty period if applicable.
• Coordinate activity within internal departments for recruitment of project personnel and tooling.
• Regularly review project performance and report any significant issues of concern to senior management when the situation warrants.
• Reporting completion of project milestones to ensure on-time invoicing.
• Effectively negotiating and recording customer project variations ensuring relevant internal departments are notified in a timely manner.
• Ensuring final project reports and workbooks are completed on time and in-full.
• Identifying risks and opportunities and developing plans for mitigation and enhancement/growth.

• Have a Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent from an accredited university and 2+yrs of experience in project management.
• Have proven records of Project Manager, field service, or contract management in industrial Power Generation
