Job summary

Garver seeks a Project Manager to join our Transportation Team in Tulsa, OK. The role involves project management, sub-consultant coordination, scheduling, civil design, and cost estimation to deliver high-quality transportation projects.

Qualified candidates hold a PE license, an ABET-accredited civil engineering degree, and 8–15 years of relevant experience, with proficiency in Microstation/OpenRoads/InRoads and MS Office. Prior DOT project exposure is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
  • 8–15 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
  • Experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads.
  • Knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, HCM, MUTCD.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Project management and planning for transportation projects.
  • Coordinate with sub-consultants and project/task scheduling.
  • Civil design tasks and plan production oversight.
  • Prepare cost estimates and perform quality control.
  • Interact with clients and support marketing through proposals and interviews.

Project Manager – Tulsa, Oklahoma

Garver seeks a Project Manager to join our growing Transportation Team in Tulsa, OK to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Project management
  • Sub-consultant coordination
  • Project/task scheduling
  • Civil Design
  • Plan production oversight
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Quality Control
  • Client interaction
  • Technical experience should include:
    • Geometric design for roadways/interchanges
    • 3D Design experience
    • Drainage design
    • Construction sequencing and traffic control
    • Utility relocation coordination
  • Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals and letters of interest, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
  • Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on ODOT/OTA (or other DOT) transportation projects
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oklahoma, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity
