Job summary

A reputable transportation engineering firm in Oklahoma City seeks a Project Manager to oversee various aspects of engineering projects. This role involves managing project quality, interacting with clients, and ensuring efficient production planning. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and be licensed as a Professional Engineer. Candidates must also have extensive experience in roadway design and familiarity with relevant engineering guidelines. Qualifications

• 8 to 15 years of relevant experience in transportation projects.
• Practical knowledge of AASHTO guidelines and manuals.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software.
• Knowledge of AASHTO Green Book, Roadside Design Guide, HCM and MUTCD.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong MS Office knowledge.

Job description

Garver seeks aProject Managerto join our growing Transportation Team in Oklahoma City, OK to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.

Responsibilities of this role include:

• Project management
• Plan production oversight
• Quality Control
• Client interaction
• Technical experience should include:
  • Geometric design for roadways/interchanges
  • 3D Design experience
  • Drainage design
  • Construction sequencing and traffic control
  • Utility relocation coordination
• Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals and letters of interest, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
• Eight (8) to fifteen (15) years of relevant experience
• Experience with Microstation, OpenRoads Designer or InRoads and/or other roadway design software
• Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Highway Capacity Manual (HCM), and the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on ODOT/OTA (or other DOT) transportation projects
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oklahoma, or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity
