Job summary

Garver is seeking a Transportation Project Manager for our Moore, OK office to support the Oklahoma City metro transportation team. The role focuses on project management, design oversight, and client interaction, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, cost estimation, and coordination with sub-consultants.

The successful candidate will have a civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program, PE licensure, 5–10 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with Civil 3D or

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing.
  • 5–10 years of relevant experience in transportation/civil projects.
  • Experience with roadway geometry, drainage, construction sequencing, and traffic control.

Responsibilities

  • Project management and coordination of transportation projects.
  • Coordinate sub-consultants and plan production oversight.
  • Develop project schedules and cost estimates.
  • Engage with clients and prepare proposals and letters of interest.

Transportation Project Manager

Location: Oklahoma City Metro, Oklahoma

Garver seeks a Project Manager to join our growing Transportation Team in our Moore, OK office to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Project management
  • Sub-consultant coordination
  • Project/task scheduling
  • Civil design
  • Plan production oversight
  • Preparing cost estimates
  • Client interaction
Technical Experience
  • Geometric design for roadways
  • Drainage design
  • Construction sequencing and traffic control
  • Utility relocation coordination
  • Marketing activities may include assisting in the production of proposals and letters of interest, as well as participation in interviews and other presentations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of relevant experience
  • Experience with AutoDesk Civil 3D or Microstation roadway design software
  • Practical working knowledge of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) Green Book, the Roadside Design Guide, the Manual Uniform Traffic Control Device (MUTCD), Oklahoma DOT Roadway Design Manual, and the Department of Justice ADA Standards for Accessible Design (ADAAG/PROWAG) Guidelines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office
Preferred Skills
  • Previous experience in consulting engineering with a primary focus on municipal or DOT transportation projects
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Oklahoma or will have the ability to obtain reciprocity.
