Job summary

Haydon Healy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of complex construction projects across Texas and the wider US. You will work within a General Contracting environment, overseeing day-to-day project management and coordinating with the project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Role requires managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and documentation while maintaining strong client relations and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Monitor progress, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Maintain relationships with clients and provide clear project communication.
• Support contract administration and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure safety, schedule, budget and quality standards are met.
• Provide leadership to Assistant Project Managers and Project Engineers.

Project Manager

Haydon Healy are supporting a number of established General Contractors with the appointment of an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of complex construction projects across Texas and the wider US.

This position is suited to someone who has built their career within a General Contracting environment and has a strong understanding of project delivery from preconstruction through execution and closeout.

The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned projects, working closely with the Project Executive, Superintendent, subcontractors and client team to ensure successful delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Coordinate closely with Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants and project stakeholders.
• Take ownership of project budgets, forecasting, cost control and change management.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor buyout, RFIs, submittals and project documentation.
• Develop and maintain project schedules alongside the field and operations teams.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation plans.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide clear, consistent project communication.
• Support contract administration and commercial negotiations.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Provide leadership and support to Assistant Project Managers, Project Engineers and wider project teams.

We are particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have:

• A strong background working directly for a General Contractor.
• Experience delivering large-scale commercial, industrial or technically complex construction projects.
• Previous experience operating as a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost management, scheduling and subcontractor management.
• Experience managing project financials, including budgets, forecasts and change orders.
• Strong client-facing and communication skills.
• The ability to coordinate effectively between office-based and field construction teams.
• A proactive approach to problem solving and project delivery.
• The ability and willingness to travel 100% based on project requirements.

Experience within data centers, mission critical, advanced manufacturing, industrial or other technically complex construction environments would be particularly relevant.
