Westchester Medical Center Health Network is seeking a Project Manager to lead the lifecycle of diverse, technically oriented projects within the Operational Excellence & Enterprise Data Analytics team. You will coordinate between engineering, analytics, and stakeholders to deliver improvements in operational and analytical capabilities.

The role emphasizes executing project plans, managing tasks, and ensuring delivery on scope and schedule.

Qualifications

  • Two years of progressively responsible project management experience.
  • Experience in a public health, clinical setting, health regulatory or health services related organization is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • PM certifications preferred (PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, or Prosci).

Responsabilités

  • Project Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of assigned technical projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Workstream Management: Oversee and coordinate multiple concurrent workstreams, aligning priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key contact, providing updates, gathering requirements, and managing expectations.
  • Product Enhancement Queue Support: Maintain and prioritize a queue of enhancement requests for existing products.
  • Developer/Technical Coordination: Coordinate development tasks with engineering and analytics teams.
  • Process Adherence & Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Risk Identification & Escalation: Identify risks and issues, escalate as needed to leadership.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work with technical teams and stakeholders to achieve objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Learn project management best practices and healthcare domain concepts.

Job Summary

Join our dynamic Operational Excellence & Enterprise Data Analytics team as a Project Manager. In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of diverse projects, some which are technical in nature, spanning operational improvement and transformation initiatives, special project implementations, and core Data & Analytics efforts. You’ll coordinate between skilled technical teams and stakeholders across the network to deliver solutions that enhance our analytical and operational capabilities.

You will focus on executing project plans, managing tasks, facilitating communication, and ensuring successful project delivery within scope and timelines. We seek an autonomous, curious individual with strong communication skills, a structured approach to problem-solving, and a drive for continuous learning. A technical background or experience is preferred, as this role often interfaces with data, analytics, and application development teams.

Responsibilities
  • Project Execution: Manage the full lifecycle of assigned technical projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.

  • Developer/Technical Coordination: Collaborate closely with engineering and analytics teams to coordinate development tasks, track progress, and facilitate technical discussion.
  • Process Adherence & Documentation: Follow established project management processes; create and maintain project documentation, including plans, status reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Risk Identification & Escalation: Identify project risks and issues, including dependencies involving external task ownership; manage necessary stakeholder follow-up and elevate complex issues or roadblocks to senior team members or leadership.
  • Collaboration & Teamwork: Work collaboratively with technical teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
  • Continuous Learning: Actively learn about project management best practices, relevant technologies (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI), and the healthcare domain.
Qualifications/Requirements
Experience
  • Two years of progressively responsible experience devoted to project management, required
  • Two years of experience in project management in a public health, clinical setting, health regulatory or health services related organization or program, preferred.
Education
  • Bachelor’s Degree, required
  • Master's degree, preferred
Licenses / Certifications
  • Project Manager Profession (PMP), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, or Prosci Certified Change Practitioner, preferred
