Job summary

Kaller Architecture in Hollywood, Florida seeks a seasoned architect to design, coordinate, and oversee a range of architectural projects from concept through construction. You will lead technical development, ensure code compliance, and coordinate with clients and consultants to achieve design intent.

Ideal candidates bring 6–10 years of experience, proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, and a strong grasp of building systems and construction detailing.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field from an accredited university.
• 6-10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit (required); SketchUp, Photoshop, or 3DS Max is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, materials, and construction detailing.
• Solid understanding of the Florida Building Code and local zoning regulations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Help with architectural design and technical development of residential and commercial projects.
• Prepare and oversee detailed construction drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Florida Building Code and local zoning regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors throughout all project phases.
• Conduct site visits, feasibility studies, and construction administration tasks.
• Review submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings to ensure design intent is maintained.
• Manage project documentation including drawings, specifications, reports, and permitting packages.
• Resolve design and construction challenges through creative and technical problem-solving.
• Support project delivery from concept through construction completion.
