Opti Staffing Group partners with a well-established manufacturing organization to recruit a Project Manager for SW PDX. You will lead manufacturing projects from order intake through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer expectations are met.

This contract-to-hire role starts at $80,000 with strong potential for increase after conversion. Schedule is Monday–Friday, daytime hours, with cross-functional collaboration across operations, engineering, supply chain, and production.

Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience delivering time-sensitive customer orders.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and high service.
  • Manage manufacturing projects from order intake through delivery, ensuring timelines and quality.
  • Coordinate across operations, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and drive solutions to keep projects on schedule.
  • Lead internal and external communication, including status updates and issue resolution.
  • Take ownership of project performance including delivery timelines and customer satisfaction.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and advocating solutions.

Project Manager

Location: SW PDX

Pay: $80,000 to start with strong potential for increase after conversion

Schedule: Monday through Friday | 7:00am to 3:30pm

This is a contract to hire opportunity designed to give both you and the company the chance to ensure long-term alignment.

What You'll Do

Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring clear communication and a high level of service throughout the lifecycle of each project

Manage and oversee manufacturing projects from order intake through delivery, ensuring timelines, quality, and customer expectations are consistently met

Coordinate across operations, engineering, supply chain, and production teams to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery

Track project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively drive solutions to keep projects on schedule

Manage high-visibility and time-sensitive orders in a deadline-driven environment

Lead internal and external communication, including status updates, issue resolution, and expectation setting

Take full ownership of project performance, including delivery timelines, quality, and overall customer satisfaction

Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions
