Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project plans and resource allocations.

• Ensure adherence to project governance and best practices; provide regular updates to leadership.
• Identify and escalate risks and issues; mentor junior project managers.

Job Title: Project Manager – Manufacturing

Functional Area: Project Management

Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support a centralized project management organization within Manufacturing and Global Sourcing. This role will lead a range of cross-functional, global projects including new product introduction (NPI), technology transfers, manufacturing optimization, and business system implementations.

The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex projects across multiple stakeholders and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cross-functional, multidisciplinary project teams across engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and operations
• Oversee end-to-end project execution from early-stage initiation through production ramp-up and project closeout
• Deliver projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations while proactively managing risks and dependencies
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
• Coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure alignment across internal teams and external stakeholders
• Drive new product introductions (NPI), technology transfers, and manufacturing/process improvement initiatives
• Ensure adherence to internal project governance, processes, and best practices
• Provide regular project updates and reporting to key stakeholders and leadership
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks while escalating issues as needed
• Mentor and support junior project managers or sub-project leads
• Support CAPEX project planning, budgeting, and cost control activities

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional projects, including NPI or manufacturing initiatives
• Experience supporting or managing CAPEX projects (>$1M preferred)
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities across global and cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Analytical problem-solving mindset with strong decision-making ability
• Ability to influence and collaborate across organizational and cultural boundaries
• Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking capabilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Project
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Occasional domestic and international travel may be required depending on project needs
• Work is primarily performed in an office environment with periodic visits to manufacturing sites
