Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Project Manager in Tempe, AZ. The Project Manager will serve as a key operational leader overseeing the full lifecycle of network infrastructure and cabling construction projects within a designated site. This role encompasses project development, scheduling, budget management, customer engagement, and on-site execution for new construction and capital projects. The ideal candidate brings a background in commercial mechanical or infrastructure contracting, strong organizational and communication skills, and a proactive approach to operational leadership.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $135,000 Annually BOE

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely completion of high-quality construction projects within established budget constraints.
• Conduct regular project status updates, provide periodic progress reports, and perform end-of-contract cost and budget analysis.
• Incorporate scope changes efficiently, verify project estimates for accuracy, and ensure proper loading of estimate numbers into the project cost system.
• Conduct pre-job planning meetings, document outcomes, and drive completion of all resulting action items.
• Develop and maintain current project schedules that integrate seamlessly with the master project schedule.
• Establish and execute subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support project schedules and budgets.
• Prepare and submit monthly contract billings to maintain proper cash flow throughout contract performance.
• Manage conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trade partners, and field crews in a timely and professional manner.
• Visit job sites and onsite offices to perform work inspections, assess job progress, and resolve project and contract issues.
• Identify and develop policies and procedures to drive continuous operational improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• 2+ years of experience managing projects for a commercial mechanical or infrastructure contractor.
• Demonstrated excellence in organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Awareness of OSHA safety standards and construction job site safety protocols.
• Ability to visit active construction sites as required by project oversight responsibilities.
• Ability to regularly operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard in an office or onsite trailer environment.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be aware of OSHA safety standards.
• May be exposed to heights and loud noises on active construction sites.
• May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
• Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending required.
• May need to lift up to 25 pounds on occasion.
• Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated annual salary for this position is $135,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
