Job summary

Leapros Skilled Trades in Mesa, AZ is seeking Infrastructure Techs (CT2) to fabricate, install, and assemble complex conduit and raceway systems in a contract environment.

The Infrastructure Technician II will lead crew performance, coordinate personnel, and ensure timely project completion while maintaining safety and quality standards. Experience with EMT, rigid, and plasti-bond conduit and bending equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in infrastructure or electrical construction focusing on conduit installation.
• Expert proficiency with mechanical and hydraulic benders for conduit up to 4 inches.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication of EMT, rigid, and plasti-bond conduit materials.
• Ability to interpret project requirements for building equipment closets and installing grounding systems.
• Previous experience in a lead capacity with the ability to train personnel and manage project timelines.
• Proficiency in using power tools such as dual trigger bandsaws and threading equipment.
• Strong administrative skills for managing work orders, tool transfers, and material logs.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety protocols and quality control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Build out telecommunications closets by mounting backboards and installing grounding for racks, equipment, and cables.
• Fabricate and install various conduit types including rigid, aluminum, E.M.T., plasti-bond, and P.V.C.
• Operate mechanical and hydraulic benders for conduit sizes ranging from 1 1/2 inches to 4 inches.
• Install diverse raceway and cable tray systems and fabricate necessary conduit supports.
• Monitor installed systems to identify hazards and determine the need for adjustments, relocation, or equipment replacement.
• Lead crew performance by providing training, coordinating personnel, and managing project timelines.
• Maintain accurate project documentation including timesheets, material transfers, work orders, and change orders.
• Ensure all work adheres to company, customer, and industry safety and quality standards.

Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Infrastructure Techs (CT2) in Mesa, AZ. The Infrastructure Technician II is a skilled professional responsible for the fabrication, installation, and assembly of complex electrical conduit and raceway systems. This role requires a high level of technical expertise with various conduit materials and bending equipment, as well as the leadership capacity to coordinate crew performance and ensure project timelines are met in a contract environment.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $25 to $30 Per Hour BOE

• Ability to work at heights or within confined spaces typical of infrastructure projects.

Pay Transparency:

The anticipated pay range for this position is $25 to $30 per hour, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
