Job summary

KION North America is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to join our Engineering organization and drive innovation, improve product design, and ensure customer satisfaction. You will oversee engineering projects, manage budgets and resources, and coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver on-time results.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, strong English communication, and proven project management experience; SAP knowledge is a plus and Lean experience is

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in applicable field.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Preferred: CAPM®, PMP®, or Prince 2® certification.
• Proven experience with project management.
• ERP knowledge (SAP, preferred).
• Knowledge of product development lifecycles.
• Experience interfacing with cross-functional support teams.
• Experience with utilizing Lean methodologies and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects, including overall integrated project plans, product cost, technical details, resource management, budgets, and tooling investments.
• Collaborate with engineering and product management teams to align customer requirements with internal technical requirements.
• Prepare and conduct weekly standing meetings with internal teams and external vendors/contractors to plan and track deliverables.
• Balance both in-depth details and high-level executive summary regarding project specific requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management tools and methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal and or safety standards.
• Embrace and help drive the Lean culture.
