Job summary

Creative G C is seeking a Project Manager to lead a DHS Section 508 Support Services task order, coordinating contractor work, and serving as the primary point of contact to the Contracting Officer and COR. The role focuses on delivering accessible, accurate work products and timely reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contractor work, staffing, schedules, risks, deliverables, quality, and communications across project management, accessibility project support, and operations support tasks.
• Serve as the single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and COR and designate a qualified alternate with authority to act during absences.
• Develop and implement the staffing plan, including recruiting, retention, replacement, role assignments, subcontractor integration, and continuity of support.
• Prepare the contractor project plan, business continuity plan, monthly progress reports, meeting materials, and other required deliverables.
• Develop the Skills Currency and Training Plan for applicable key personnel, track approved training monthly, and report completion status.
• Coordinate progress meetings, present deliverables, resolve emerging technical issues, and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Ensure contractor personnel understand and follow DHS security, conduct, identification, privacy, and accessibility requirements.
• Monitor deliverable timeliness and quality, including Section 508 compliance, spelling, grammar, factual accuracy, and required Government review cycles.

Position Summary:

Mandatory qualifications

• At least three years of experience managing projects of similar size and complexity.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to meet DHS suitability and Entry on Duty requirements.
• Availability by telephone from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, Monday-Friday, and ability to respond to requests for discussion or technical-problem resolution within 24 hours.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience managing federal IT, digital accessibility, Section 508, or compliance-support programs.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams that include accessibility testers, document remediation specialists, technical writers, help desk staff, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of Revised Section 508 Standards, WCAG, DHS Trusted Tester practices, or federal ICT acquisition governance.
• PMP, PgMP, Certified ScrumMaster, or comparable project/program management credential.
• Experience with quality-control plans, staffing continuity, ServiceNow-based reporting, and Government deliverable acceptance processes.
