Job summary

JW Fowler is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale, multi-million dollar projects on the West Coast. You will supervise a staff, review estimates, and advance complex project duties across multiple initiatives.

The role emphasizes profitability, risk mitigation, client relationship development, and strict safety leadership within a family-oriented infrastructure team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Engineering Management, or related discipline.
• 15+ years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 10 years leading complex projects; 5 years managing self-performed projects.
• Proven leadership with ability to develop new business.
• Strong decision-making abilities with readiness to lead corporate assignments.
• Ability to manage projects profitability.

Responsibilities

• Routinely manage projects valued at $10M to $100M and supervise a staff of 10+ people.
• Oversee and review estimates developed by the estimating team.
• Advance Project Manager I/II duties and responsibilities.
• Simultaneously manage multiple large budget projects with complex implementation challenges.
• Ensure continuity, quality, risk mitigation, and profitability through all project cycles.
• Develop legacy client relationships meeting client needs and promoting opportunities.
• Negotiate contract changes and minimize risk around scope, schedule, budget and margins.
• Maintain and report on project financial status.
• Champion safety; everyone is responsible for safety.

• Simultaneously manage multiple large budget projects with extensive/complex implementation challenges
• Ensure continuity, quality, risk mitigation, and profitability through all cycles of a project
• Develop legacy client relationships that meet client needs and promote business opportunities
• Negotiate contract changes and minimize risk around scope, schedule, budget, and margin goals
• Maintain and be responsible for project financial status and reporting
• Help ensure the safety of our team– Everyone is responsible for safety!

What we are looking for…
