Job summary

MacDonald‑Miller Facility Solutions is seeking a Project Manager to oversee field-based projects, finances, risks, and personnel. You will supervise Project Engineers and coordinate with general contractors to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or construction management or equivalent experience, and at least 3 years in project management within mechanical or construction sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Support Field Operations – Ensure field teams have resources, materials, and support to meet timelines.
  • Manage Project Financials and Reporting – Oversee budgets, track expenses, process change orders, and provide financial reports.
  • Mitigate Project Risks – Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and address issues to keep projects on track.
  • Serve as the Primary Liaison with the General Contractor – Build strong GC relationships and resolve conflicts promptly.
  • Lead and Develop Project Engineers – Guide Project Engineers and Administrative PE EDP to align with objectives.

Project Manager

We’re looking for a Project Manager to facilitate the needs of projects in the field, which includes managing the financials, risks, and people within the project. The role also involves supervising project engineers and communicating project needs with the general contractor as necessary. Top Deliverables in the First Year
  • Support Field Operations – Ensure field teams have the resources, materials, and support they need to execute work efficiently and meet project timelines.
  • Manage Project Financials and Reporting – Oversee budgets, track expenses, process change orders, and provide accurate financial reports to maintain profitability.
  • Mitigate Project Risks – Identify potential risks early, develop contingency plans, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
  • Serve as the Primary Liaison with the General Contractor – Build and maintain strong relationships with the GC, align on project goals, and resolve conflicts promptly.

You should have

  • A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field – or equivalent relevant experience.

Compensation

$104,000 to $136,000 annually.
