Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Manager to lead multiple construction projects from planning through closeout, ensuring schedules, budgets, and quality targets are met. The Project Manager oversees and manages construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. This role coordinates closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, with a strong focus on mechanical and commercial construction projects, particularly in HVAC, plumbing, or sheet metal services.

  • Plan, organize, and control project activities to ensure completion on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.

  • Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure financial performance aligns with project objectives.
  • Direct and coordinate project teams, providing clear leadership, guidance, and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Review and interpret project designs and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field.

  • Prepare, review, and manage change orders, ensuring proper documentation, pricing, and client approvals.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to interpret and work with project designs and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to project challenges.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work and maintaining strong client relationships.
Work Environment

This role is based onsite in the Richmond office, working closely with internal teams and local project stakeholders. The work environment supports a rapidly growing and stable team with a strong networking and winning culture. The position involves regular in-person coordination, meetings, and oversight of construction activities, supported by modern project management tools and systems.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Sandston, VA.

Pay And Benefits
  • The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
  • Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
