Job summary

Fuscoe Engineering, Inc. seeks a Project Manager for our Downtown San Diego office to lead land development projects from entitlements through construction, while interfacing with clients and coordinating design teams.

You will contribute to marketing, business development, and pursuit of new work, with responsibilities including invoicing, change orders, and timecard approvals to keep projects on track. The role emphasizes mentorship and strong technical skills in a collaborative,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university.
• Civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• 3+ years as central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
• PE certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client interface and spearhead plan processing at public agencies.

What You’ll Do as a Project Manager:

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent discipline from a four-year college or university and civil engineering design experience of at least 10 years.
• At least 3 years of experience serving as the central design figure, mentor to employees, and lead for overseeing workflow of projects.
• Excellent problem solving, decision-making, communication, and team building skills, and abilities to manage a land development project from start to finish (entitlements through construction support).
• PE certification required
