Job summary

Lincoln is seeking a Project Manager, Construction to lead moderate to large-scale capital improvement projects in our Texas market. You will serve as the main client liaison, owning budgets, schedules, and vendor performance to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

You will select and manage design and construction partners, review contracts, and monitor permitting and approvals. Regular site visits, risk management, and accurate invoicing are essential to success in this

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience managing commercial construction and/or tenant improvement projects.
  • Demonstrated track record delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, budgets, schedules, and building codes.
  • Proven vendor and contractor management and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and Microsoft Office.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

  • Function as the primary point of contact for owners, clients, and stakeholders on assigned construction projects.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, providing regular status reporting to clients and leadership.
  • Select and manage architects, engineers, consultants, and general contractors appropriate to project requirements.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, bids, and change orders, ensuring alignment with project budget and objectives.
  • Oversee construction document review, permitting, and the AHJ approval process.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, schedule adherence, and safety compliance.
  • Manage the pay application, invoicing, and project accounting process.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and issues, escalating to leadership as needed.
  • Lead project closeout, including punch lists, commissioning, warranties, and as-built documentation.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job description
