Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment seeks an experienced Project Manager in Salt Lake City to lead construction projects from planning through completion. You will manage schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation while coordinating with owners, architects, engineers, subs, vendors, and internal teams.

You’ll review plans and contracts, monitor costs and performance, and provide leadership and clear communication to drive project success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and documents.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

What You’ll Do

• Manage construction projects from planning and preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs, schedules, quality, and overall performance.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear, consistent communication with project stakeholders.
• Identify potential challenges early and develop practical solutions to keep projects on track.
• Work closely with Superintendents and field teams to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and according to plan.
• Manage subcontractor and vendor relationships while maintaining accountability for performance.
• Track project progress, financials, commitments, and forecasts.
• Assist with estimating, budgeting, buyout, and project turnover as needed.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and contribute to a positive customer experience.
• Ensure projects meet company standards for safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Provide leadership, organization, and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of construction project management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction processes, contracts, scheduling, and project financials.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction project management software.
• A proactive mindset and the ability to take ownership of projects from start to finish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
