Job summary

West Cary Group is a fast-growing digital marketing and technology agency based in Richmond, Virginia. We seek a dynamic Project Manager to coordinate and traffic client projects, ensuring alignment with client strategy and goals.

You will lead scheduling, plan timelines, and provide direction to account management and creative teams, while monitoring progress and delivering reports to stakeholders. Strong PM tool proficiency and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Must lead scheduling and routing of client projects from intake to completion.
• Must be a super-user of project management tools or similar technology.
• Must define project tasks and resource requirements to meet deadlines.
• Must develop process documentation to achieve desirable results.

Responsibilities

• Allocate resources for client projects as needed.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones.
• Provide direction to account management and creative services teams.
• Perform quality assurance and compliance management.
• Report on progress to stakeholders including daily stand-ups and weekly status reports.
• Present reports on project progress, risks and solutions.
• Manage project changes and interventions to achieve outputs.
• Evaluate project results and outcomes.
• Use historical data to craft estimates for new projects.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination, implementation, and trafficking of client projects ensuring consistency with client strategy, commitments and goals.

Position Responsibilities:

• Allocates resources of client project(s) as needed
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Provide direction and support to account management and creative services team members
• Perform quality assurance and compliance management
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of client projects to all stakeholders including management of daily stand ups, daily hot lists and weekly status reports
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Perform project evaluations and assessment of results
• Use historical data to help craft estimates for new projects
• Other duties as assigned

Role Qualifications:

Position Requirements:

• Associate degree in business, management, finance, communications or related field, or equivalent work experience, required; bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least 2-3 years of direct work experience in project management and process improvement required
• At least 2-3 years of experience utilizing project management tool or similar technology experience required
• Strong organizational, administrative, problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk and change management
