Job summary

Pavion is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our fire business unit, coordinating multiple projects from initiation through execution and closeout. You will drive schedules, manage procurement and budgets, and ensure clear, proactive communication with operations leadership.

In this role, you will collaborate with construction trades, track progress, and maintain compliance with NFPA and trade standards, travel to client sites as required, and contribute to a safety‑driven,

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry and project management.
• 10+ years experience installing and managing fire alarm and security installations.
• Experience designing fire alarm systems and creating submittal packages.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Knowledge of NFPA and trade standards.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer/project sites.

Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Project Manager to join our fire business unit.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage, direct, and coordinate all aspects of multiple and simultaneous projects
• Responsible for project execution and successful completion
• Work with other construction trades to ensure projects stay within schedule
• Communicate to operations manager all project status
• Responsible for managing & procurement to ensure budget estimates

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience in the fire protection industry, project management
• 10+ years experience installing and managing fire alarm, security installations
• Experience in managing fire alarm installations, designing fire alarm systems and creating submittal packages
• Experience with FA products such as FCI, Notifier, Firelite, Gamewell, etc. Good communications skills written and verbal
• Knowledge of NFPA and trade standards
• This position requires regular driving to customer and project sites. A valid driver’s license is required

The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $100,000 annually . The starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, education, skills, certifications, and internal equity. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package.
