Job summary

We Search People is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in Raleigh to recruit an experienced Project Manager. This role involves managing projects from preconstruction through to completion, emphasizing collaboration and quality.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in commercial construction project management, with a proven track record in budget and schedule management, ensuring successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and project delivery.
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, procurement, and subcontractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Lead subcontractor buyout, contract negotiations, and vendor management.
• Coordinate field operations with superintendents and project teams.
• Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and forecast financial performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
