Base pay range

$60,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr

We are a leading elevator design and manufacturing firm looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager (PM) to lead and oversee projects from inception to completion. The PM will serve as the primary point of contact between Sales, Operations, and customers, ensuring that all project phases, including engineering, manufacturing, subcontracting, and field installations, are executed seamlessly.

We are seeking a highly organized and professional individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities & Primary Functions

  1. Project Planning & Oversight
    1. Manage project timelines, budgets, and milestones from project award through completion using our Project Management Software (Wrike).
    2. Track project progress, monitor deliverables, and ensure that all parties remain aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.
    3. Prepare and submit permit applications and documentation.
    4. Coordinate and manage permit inspections across various counties.
  2. Procurement & Resource Management
    1. Collaborate with the engineering and purchasing team to confirm material selections, verify order quantities, and ensure timely purchasing.
    2. Manage vendor relationships to guarantee on-time delivery of materials.
  3. Team Coordination
    1. Schedule and oversee field installations by liaising with customers, the shop manager, and field teams.
    2. Resolve project-related issues quickly and effectively to maintain momentum and customer satisfaction.
  4. Project Closeout
    1. Ensure all project punch lists are completed, final documentation is issued, and client acceptances are obtained.
    2. Conduct final profit-and-loss reporting for projects.
  5. Additional Responsibilities
    1. Collaborate with various teams across the organization to ensure overall project success.
    2. Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support company goals and objectives.

Qualifications

Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Construction Administration, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  2. Equivalent experience (4+ years in project management) will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience:

  1. 4–5 years of project management experience, preferably in the elevator, or construction industry.
  2. Strong proficiency in MS Office and project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Monday, Asana).
  3. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings is a plus.

Skills:

  1. Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  2. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  5. Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required.

Work Schedule & Location

  1. Hours: 7am – 4pm, Mon – Fri (Fridays are remote workdays).
  2. Occasional site visits required.
  3. Starting salary: $60,000–$75,000/year, commensurate with experience.
  4. Comprehensive health benefits available after 90 days.
